Christmas presents to Cambodia

The students and a lot of staff wore the wrong shoes to school to raise money for Christmas presents for children in Siem Reap, Cambodia.  This initiative is organised by the charity Heartprint.  There was a variety of shoes and an array of colours!  Mrs Lucas was hoping to raise enough for 10 Christmas packs, but we surpassed that and raised enough for 15 packs.  Each child received a toy, educational supplies, a water bottle, a T-Shirt and a Hygiene pack (containing soap, a toothbrush and paste and for older girls, sanitary protection).  Children in Cambodia rarely receive gifts so it was a pleasure for us to help out.  Here are a few photos – you can follow this link to the giving of the presents at Heartprint House, and also if you wish to donate to the charity yourself this is their website:  https://heartprint.org.au
