We have now launched our 2018 ‘Pathways’ programme for students in Years 8, 9 and 10. The Pathways programme will provide individualised tracking of subjects and recommend routes for students to follow during their time at the Academy. This year all students will be allocated a Pathways advisor who can provide the personalised advice and guidance that will help students make the right choices now to ensure that they have the best options when they leave the Academy.
Our Pathways Programme is based on three key principles: to deliver excellence for all our students from the most able, to those who need extra support in Year 9 to ensure they are ready to take GCSE courses in Year 10; to provide flexibility for students to progress to exam courses at higher levels at the rate which is right for them and to ensure breadth of provision, so that all of our students can follow the widest possible range of academic and technical courses.
By clicking on the links below you can access the slides from the presentation shown at our information evening and also access the information provided by teachers for each of the subjects on offer.
