You will see and hear the phrase ‘Ready, Respectful, Safe’ in school – but what does it mean?

READY

Is based on four lesson expectations:

1.Learn by being ready and equipped for work.

2. Learn by working well and to the best of your ability.

3. Let others learn -do not disturb them.

4. Let yourself learn – do not allow yourself to be disturbed.

 

RESPECTFUL

Respect oneself, each other and your surroundings.

Understand , appreciate and celebrate diversity, showing kindness and empathy.

Take on leadership roles and responsibilities; model our high expectations to younger pupils.

 

SAFE

Be in the right place at the right time.

Follow rules for health and safety- acting responsibly to prevent risk of harm to yourself and others.

Say safe online keeping personal information to yourself.
