Curling Champions in Training!

This afternoon, students from our RP had a ball while trying their hands at Curling! 

After attending a Boccia event here at The Macclesfield Academy, the group of boys were keen to have another go at this competitive and tactical sport. Set up in our KS3 area, they lined themselves up and worked in teams to get their 'stones' closest to the target! 

A fantastic lesson on turn taking and precision - the group were engrossed in the activity and there was plenty of cheering as the game progressed and their aims improved with every shot. 

Could there be a curling champion in the making?
