  • ASC Teaching Assistant

    The Macclesfield Academy is a successful and expanding 11-16 school serving a diverse community in South Macclesfield.  From September 2022 we will be opening a resource provision for autism.

    We are seeking to recruit an ASC Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team of staff who provide additional classroom support to start Monday 9th May or earlier.

    This post will be paid at NJC Grade 4 or 5 (dependent on experience). This is a full-time post.

    Interviews will be held the week commencing 23rd May.

  • Academic Mentor

    Academic Mentors are part of The National Tutoring Programme which supports schools by providing access to high-quality tutoring to help pupils whose education has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

    As an Academic Mentor you will be working alongside the pupil’s teacher to provide tuition for those who need it most. The Academic Mentor role is perfect for those looking for a route into teaching or a career change.
