Multi-sports event a hit!

Co-ordination, balance, agility – just three of the many skills that were being practised today by Year 2 pupils visiting The Macclesfield Academy for a multi-sports event in our excellent sports hall.

Once again, the PE department and our wonderful student helpers were thrilled to welcome Ashgrove Primary School and Wincle CofE Primary School, as pupils took part in a carousel of fun and competitive activities including tennis, hurdles, basketball and more. The Macclesfield Academy students did a terrific job of leading each activity and supported their groups brilliantly – smiles and praise in abundance!

Well done to all the pupils from our visiting Primary schools who took part in today’s multi-sports event and to all the PE staff and students at The Macclesfield Academy who helped to organise and deliver a super event!
