Planning Your Future!

Cheshire East Council and the Cheshire East Parent Carer Forum are hosting two free drop-in sessions for young people with SEND, to think about and plan for their future!

The events will be held on the following dates and locations

Session 1

Date: Monday 13 March 2023

Time:  1.30-3.30pm and 4.00-6.00pm

Location: Crewe Municipal building, Earle Street, Crewe, CW1 2BJ

Date:Thursday 23 March 2023

Time:  1.30-3.30pm and 4.00-6.00pm

Location: Macclesfield Town Hall, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 1EA

Young people aged 12 and over and their families are invited to drop in and talk to services such as colleges, leisure activity and health providers, and support organisations.

Young people should gradually be encouraged and helped to think about what’s important and what they would like to do in the future such as:

• Jobs, further education or training
• Independent living – choice and control over their life and housing options
• Interests and hobbies
• Good health
