TMA Celebrates European Languages Week
Back
It's European Languages week at TMA and our students are celebrating all things languages!
Not only have they been trying foods from all over the world at lunch and break but they have also been taking part in taster lessons in Mandarin, Italian and German. There have been competitions and quizes to promote language learning and multiculturalism and students have been learning about our amazing EAL students who speak many languages at home and at school.
Janet Frank, Head of MFL said: "European Language Week is not just about languages that originate from Europe, but also about all languages spoken across our continent."
Pictured are Alice, Wishy, Jack and Lily-Ann in Year 7 who are learning to say "Hello" in different languages, and Italian pasta and meatballs from the kitchen.
