Kate Sutton from the national STEM Learning Centre came into TMA today to interview our Head of Science, Mrs Ainsworth.

The purpose of the interview was to discuss the work TMA has completed in collaboration with the STEM Centre over the last three years including technicians and teacher training.  Through the STEM Learning Centre TMA has also been working with The Stimulating Physics Network and The Enthuse Partnership to develop science in local primary schools.

Mrs Ainsworth commented, "The STEM Learning Centre is delighted with the work Macclesfield Academy have done and the impact it has had on staff and students in exploring excellence in science.  We very much appreciate the support that the STEM centre have given us"

The interview was filmed to create sound bites and a presentation on the impact of collaborating with the STEM centre.

As part of the The STEM Learning Centre network TMA supports the Heads of Science meetings, Technicians in Science and the Great Science Share.
