Houses Move In At TMA
Back
As the new academic year begins, TMA is delighted to announce the introduction of a House system. Under the new system, every student and every member of staff has been allocated to one of four House groups, each named after a Macclesfield mill - Adelphi, Clarence, Regency ,and Pickford.
Throughout the year students will have the chance to engage in fun games and contests, all designed to help their House earn points and work towards the overall House prize.
Mr Galvin said “When we asked the students to decide on the House names they decided that using the four great mills of Macclesfield was a way to recognise our local community and heritage. Being part of a House is a fantastic opportunity for students to grow within our school community, celebrate teamwork and take part in some brilliant competitions”
The first House event this week will be an Attendance competition.
