TMA Hosts Sports Shirt Day for Oscar
Back
Today the TMA community came together to celebrate the resilience and bravery of pupil Oscar Hulley who has been undergoing a series of hospital procedures.
To honour Oscar and stand in solidarity with him and his family, TMA staff, students and parents were invited to "Wear your favourite sports top", in place of the usual school shirt and tie. The day was a great success with a variety of sports being represented, from the numerous football shirts to Formula 1, Rugby and Hockey.
Families were also encouraged to donate to Oscar's GoFundMe page HERE as every donation will help make a meaningful difference. The page has already raised nearly £20,000.
Mat Galvin, Headteacher said: "Oscar's love of Nottingham Forest FC is well known around school so for the rest of the school to wear their favourite sports shirt in solidarity with him seemed a great way to show him just how proud we are."
There was even a school rugby shirt ready for Oscar which Mr Galvin presented to him this afternoon when he came in to say "hi"!
