Open Day at TMA
Back
TMA was buzzing last night as we welcomed a record number of potential students and their parents to come and have a look round our amazing school. There were fun activities in every department with quizes, European food samples, experiments, crafts and sports to participate in. There was even a street dancing demonstration from PE teacher, Mr Worstencroft!
The Hospitality and Catering students were on hand to deliver canapes and the kitchen team offered samples of their legendary curry.
Headteacher, Mr Galvin, delivered his welcome speech and was joined by student leaders. He said: "Our Open Evening was a fabulous opportunity to welcome prospective families into our community and tell our wonderful story.
We have so much on offer for our young people, from academic excellence and a pathway to the very best sixth form provision available through to baked in experiences to develop character through performance, music, residentials, outdoor education and DofE.
Parents commented on our phenomenal and inclusive sports offer - it's clear to see our co-curricular offering is first class.
I want to say a huge thank you and well done to all of our staff and students who shone brightly as they proudly guided parents and children around our Academy. "
For those who missed the Open Evening, there are weekly tours on a Wednesday morning which can be booked here
