Creative Juices Flow in Visual Arts

Creative juices were flowing in the Visual Arts department this week as Year 8s completed their study of the work of Jim Dine, linking it to their still life project.  The students had been experimenting with mixed media processes such as wax resist, ink and charcoal.  Tally S-A, Emma B, Poppy E, Isla B, Bella M and Amy R in particular produced some outstanding work.

Then after school some of our Year 9 artists took up the challenge to design the TMA Christmas card.  The competition will be open for 3 weeks and the winning design will be chosen by Mr Galvin.
