TMA Celebrates Parent Friendly School Accreditation
Back
We are proud to announce that The Macclesfield Academy has been officially accredited as a Parent Friendly School by the national charity Parentkind. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to building strong, positive partnerships between school and home, ensuring that parents feel valued, informed, and involved in their child’s education.
At TMA, we believe that education is most successful when schools and families work together. Over the past year, we have introduced a range of initiatives designed to strengthen communication and engagement, from regular parent forums and feedback opportunities to accessible information channels and supportive transition programmes. This accreditation is a testament to the dedication of our staff and the collaborative spirit of our parent community.
Headteacher Mr Galvin said "As a (pushy!) parent myself of two teenagers I totally understand that school and home working in tandem gives the children the very best life chances, academic successes and ambitious Post 16 choices. We're really excited to see where the next 12 months takes us as we work with Parentkind"
Being recognised by Parentkind places us among a select group of schools nationally that prioritise parental involvement as a cornerstone of student success. We are delighted to celebrate this achievement and will continue to build on this foundation to ensure every parent feels welcomed and empowered as part of The Macclesfield Academy family.
