Y9 See the Big Bang
Back
Today Y9 students were treated to a tour of the galaxy as Auriga Astronomy brought their astronomy dome into TMA to look at how the universe was formed. The students learned how stars were formed, the stars created atoms, how atoms created the universe and how life was formed on earth.
Mrs Ainsworth, Science teacher who organised the visit said: "We find planetariums so useful for bringing science to life and the way the students can see the "Big Bang" happen is truly amazing"
Student, Charlie said: "It was amazing to see all the stars exploding and bonding, it was like i was really there!"
