Flash Bang at TMA

Yesterday students were treated to a Flash-Bang Chemistry show by Dr Frank Mair from the department of Chemistry at the University of Manchester.

The show was an innovative way to get students excited to learn about Chemistry through colour-changing liquids, explosions, and other chemical reactions.

Dr Slaughter, who organised the visit with Ms Coles, said: "It was great to see the students so engaged with all the demonstrations.  They were truly amazed as the magic of chemistry unfolded in front of their eyes."
