TMA Students Receive Letters From France

Today Year 9 French students were excited to receive the first letters from their new pen pals in France.  TMA has recently partnered with College de L'etang de Lor in Montpelier, in the South of France, so that students can write to each other to improve their understanding of each other's language and culture.  The French students have written about themselves and some have even included photographs, or small gifts of a Euro or face masks!

Mrs Frank-Thomas, Head of MFL said: "It has been great to get the students involved with students who actually live in France and speak French naturally.  It brings the lessons to life and makes the learning more personal"

The TMA students will be drafting their first responses back to Montpelier next week and telling them all about life in Macclesfield!
