It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our Schools Police Constable, PC Alice Mayo, following a road traffic accident on Saturday, 7th February. Alice was a familiar and respected figure at The Macclesfield Academy, known for her dedication to our staff, students, and their families. Whether she was delivering assemblies, supporting our pastoral team, or teaching our students how to navigate the digital world and stay safe on our streets, Alice’s impact was valued by all.   Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Alice’s family, friends, and her colleagues at Macclesfield Police Station during this incredibly difficult time.
